Anand Training Centre is following the curriculum of NIMH (National Institute of Mentally Handicapped) which helps the assessment and identification of their special skills .The teacher makes IEP for every child to develop their skills. The centre focuses extra curricular activities for their individual development. It composes Physio therapy unit, Speech therapy training, Ocupational therapy, Guidance and counseling, medical doctor, facilities for sports & games, Music & Dance, Drawing and painting, Art & Craft, Yoga, etc. We provide Training for ADL as well as vocational works such as envelope Making, Candle Making, Tailoring, Paper plate Making, Screen Printing, Phenyle & Hand wash Making, Design Works etc Academic Studies Academic studies are giving mainly through classes by trained teachers in a regular base.
We have full functioning physio therapy unit and O.T doctor in our school to improve the physical fitness of our children. The physio therapist is giving Physio therapy and O.T develops their fine motor and gross motor skills.
We have facility for speech therapy those who are suffering from speech problems. Our experienced and trained speech therapist is giving training to children in a regular basis.
We have an experienced Psychologist for the guidance and Counseling. The centre provides counseling for students and also for parents. The parents are given guidance to deal with their problematic children.
We trained the children on Music and dance through qualified staff. Students are participating district and state level competitions.
The training centre is also giving abundant guidance for drawing and craft. Through this we identify the special skills of the students and they are also competing in different level.
We have a good play ground and have the facility for sports and games. Best coaching is giving for students by an experienced teacher. Three of our students are selected to America for Roller Skating by Special Olympics Bharat.
A very active training unit is working in Anand Training Centre. Students are getting variety of vocational training and through them they getting payments for the works accordingly from the works.
